Job Summary

IIQAF is seeking a highly organized and experienced Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, as well as a passion for quality assurance and commitment to our mission. This position will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and make recommendations to the management team.
  • Review and approve purchase orders to ensure compliance with IIQAF’s policies and procedures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through market research, bench marking, and competitive pricing analysis.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all procurement-related inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to monitor and report on budget and spending related to procurement activities.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify any potential risks and areas for improvement in the procurement process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement management tools.
  • Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
  • A passion for quality assurance and a strong commitment to the mission of IIQAF.
