Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload materials.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage areas, and loading docks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock movements.
- Inspect equipment for any safety concerns and report any issues immediately.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and production areas.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors on job tasks and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of materials handled and load distribution.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on forklift and report any maintenance concerns.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Valid forklift operator license.
- Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if needed.
