Job Summary
IIQAF is a leading international organization dedicated to promoting and upholding standards of excellence in quality assurance and finance. We are currently seeking a proficient Receiving Clerk to join our team and support the efficient operation of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments from suppliers, verifying quantity and quality of products
- Ensure accuracy of all incoming deliveries by cross-checking with purchase orders and packing lists
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments into the organization’s inventory system
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies in shipments
- Label and tag received items and ensure proper storage in designated locations
- Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule outgoing shipments
- Maintain and update records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to the appropriate departments
- Assist with periodic physical inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory records
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures relating to receiving and inventory management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process and record information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with internal departments and external suppliers
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in processes and procedures
- Familiarity with quality assurance and finance principles is an asset
