Job Summary
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team at IIQAF. Our ideal candidate is a highly technical professional with a passion for automotive electrical services and repairs. You must possess a strong knowledge base of performing repairs to electrical components, such as alternators, starters, brakes, and other parts of a vehicle’s electrical system. Familiarity with code diagnosis, wiring diagrams, and computerized diagnostic systems is also highly desirable.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair electrical components, including but not limited to alternators, starters, and brakes
• Read wiring diagrams and diagnose complex electrical systems
• Utilize specialized tools, including electronic testing tools, to diagnose and repair electrical systems
• Provide accurate and detailed estimates of work required
• Monitor and maintain the proper functionality of automotive electrical systems
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks assigned
• Abide by all policies and guidelines of the company
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in automotive electrical systems and services
• Knowledge of computers, general wiring diagrams, and code diagnosis
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organization
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
